UP PCS Preliminary online application form vacant posts on the official website (uppsc.up.nic.in). The examination manages and organized by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Application fees: 

  • For Gen and OBC = 100 Rs + 25 (online processing)
  • For SC/ST = 40 Rs + 25 (online processing)

Age criteria:

  • Min age is 21 yrs and the upper age limit is 40 yrs as on 01 July 2023.
  • They must have not been born earlier than 02 July 1978 and not later than 01 July 1997.
  • For the principal of Govt Inter Colleges (Boys/Girls), the candidate must have attained min age is 30 yrs and the upper age limit is 40 yrs as on 01 July 2023.
  • For PH candidates: Max age limit is 55 yrs.

12. Designated Officer / Food Safety Officer
अभिहित अधिकारी/खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी		 (1)Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto, or (2)At least one of qualification prescribed for direct recruitment to the Post of Food Safety Officer given as below (i) A Bachelors Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognised University, or any other equivalent/recognised qualification notified by the Central Government, and (ii) …………… Has successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or institution approved for the purpose Provided that no person who has any financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer.
(एक) भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय से रसायन विज्ञान में स्नातकोत्तर की उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त उसके समकक्ष कोर्इ अर्हता हों, या (दो) खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी के पद पर सीधी भर्ती के लिए विहित अर्हता में से कम से कम एक अर्हता, जो निम्नवत् हैं – (एक) मान्यता प्राप्त किसी विश्वविद्यालय से खाद्य प्रौद्योगिकी या जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या तेल प्रौद्योगिकी या कृषि विज्ञान या पशु चिकित्सा विज्ञान या जैव रसायन विज्ञान या सूक्ष्म जीव विज्ञान में स्नातक की उपाधि या रसायन विज्ञान में स्नातकोत्तर की उपाधि या औषधि में उपाधि या केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा अधिसूचित कोर्इ अन्य समकक्ष/मान्यता प्राप्त अर्हता, और (दो) ………….. इस प्रयोजनार्थ अनुमोदित किसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान या संस्था से खाद्य प्राधिकारी द्वारा यथा विनिर्दिष्ट प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण किया हो, परन्तु किसी व्यक्ति को, जिसका विनिर्माण आयात या किसी खाद्य पदार्थ के विक्रय में कोर्इ वित्तीय हित हो, खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी के रूप में नियुक्त नहीं किया जायेगा।
13. Statistical officer
सांख्यिकीय अधिकारी		 Post Graduate degree in mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Agricultural Statistics from a university recognized by Law in India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय से गणित या गणितीय सांख्यिकी या सांख्यिकी या कृषि सांख्यिकी में स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता।
14. Information Officers / District Information Officer / Script Writer / Feature Writers / Incharge, English
सूचना अधिकारी /जिला सूचना अधिकारी/पटकथा लेखक/फीचर लेखक/प्रभारी अंग्रेजी		 (A) Essential qualification: (i) A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the subjects from a University established by law in India or a degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) Diploma in Journalism or 5 Years Journalistic experience. (B) Preferential qualification: (1) Experience of writing articles, scripts and features in the newspapers and magazines. (2) Bachelor Degree in Journalism from a University established by law in India or any Institution recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (3) Diploma in Music / Lighting / Acting / Direction etc. from any institute recognized by the Government. 
(क) अनिवार्य अर्हता- (एक) भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय से एक विषय के रूप में हिन्दी के साथ स्नातक उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई उपाधि। (दो) पत्रकारिता में डिप्लोमा या पांच वर्ष का पत्रकारिता का अनुभव। (ख) अधिमानी अर्हता- (1) समाचार पत्रों और पत्रिकाओं में लेख, पटकथा और फीचर लिखने का अनुभव। (2) भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय से या सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त किसी संस्था से पत्रकारिता में स्नातक उपाधि। (3) सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त किसी संस्था से संगीत/प्रकाश-व्यवस्था/अभिनय/निर्देशन इत्यादि में डिप्लोमा।
15. Principals, Government Intermediate Colleges (For Boys or Girls)
प्रधानाचार्य, राजकीय इण्टरमीडिएट कालेज (बालक या बालिका हेतु)		 (i) A Post-graduate degree from a University established by law in India or a degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (ii) L.T. Diploma of the Department of Education, Uttar Pradesh, or B.T. or B.Ed. or an equivalent Degree of a University. (iii) At least three years of teaching experience in High School or Intermediate Classes or Classes higher than above from a College or University established by law in India or any such Institution recognized by the Government. 
(एक) भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई उपाधि। (दो) शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तर प्रदेश का एल0टी0 डिप्लोमा या बी0टी0 या बी0एड0 या किसी विश्वविद्यालय की कोई समकक्ष उपाधि। (तीन) हाईस्कूल या इण्टरमीडिएट कक्षाओं या उपरोक्त से उच्चतर कक्षाओं में भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय अथवा महाविद्यालय अथवा सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त किसी ऐसी संस्था से कम से कम तीन वर्ष का पढ़ाने का अनुभव।
16. Labour Enforcement Officer
श्रम प्रवर्तन अधिकारी		 Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Sociology or commerce and Post Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Degree in Law / Labour relation / Labour welfare / Labour Law / Commerce / Sociology / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.
अर्थशास्त्र या समाजशास्त्र या वाणिज्य और स्नातकोत्तर डिप्लोमा या स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री / श्रम संबंध / श्रम कल्याण / श्रम कानून / वाणिज्य / समाजशास्त्र / सामाजिक कार्य / सामाजिक कल्याण / व्यापार प्रबंधन / कार्मिक प्रबंधन में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री के साथ स्नातक की डिग्री।

New Exam pattern UP PCS 2023:

Preliminary:

  • The UP PCS Preliminary examination will consist of two question papers.
  • Objective nature.
  • There will be negative marking is allowed.  i.e. 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Note:
  • Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
  • It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of the Preliminary Exam for the purpose of evaluation. Therefore a candidate will be disqualified in case he does not appear in both in papers.
  • The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.

  • The interview marks are 100.
  • The total marks (with Interview)  will be 1500 + 100 = 1600 Marks.
  • There is no syllabus for the Interview section. 
  • Candidates should be communicative during the interview and must keep their views open before the interview board.

UP PCS 2023 Application Correction:

  • UPPSC will provide one chance to make corrections to the preliminary application form.
  • Candidates can make corrections in Name, DOB, address, years, marks, and other fields.
  • Also, make corrections in the images.
  • Save the application form.

UP PCS 2023 Admit Card:

  • Hall ticket will contain all information related to the examination.
  • Candidates can easily download the admit card from the website.
  • Candidates can get a copy of the admit card via a login.
  • Admit card will be used in the next process.
  • Both exams (pre and main) admit cards will be issued online only.
  • The admit card link will be activated soon.

UP PCS Result/Merit List/Interview:

  • UPPSC Authority will issue the merit list for the Preliminary exam.
  • Selected candidates will be called to apply online for the UP PCS Main 2023 Exam.
  • After the written exam of the UP PCS Main Exam, again authority will issue the list of selected candidates in the main exam.
  • Selected candidates will be called for the Interview session.
