Steczkowska gained notoriety in 1994 after winning the TV talent competition A Chance for Success with her rendition of “Buenos Aires” by Maanam. She placed eighteenth in the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest while representing Poland with the song “Sama” (meaning “Alone”).
