About The Show:

Indian Idol is a singing reality show on Sony TV that is broadcast in Hindi. It is a part of the Indian Idol series and is an Indian adaptation of the British program Pop Idol. Since 2004, it has been broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. The series was an immediate hit when it debuted, having been originally developed by Miditech Studios and its renowned producer-brothers, Niret Alva, Nikhil J Alva, and Nivedith Alva.

The series’ first five seasons were produced by the brothers, who also played a key role in setting the stage for the show’s eventual popularity. Mumbai, Maharashtra is the production and taping location for Indian Idol. It broadcasts on Saturdays and Sundays and digitally airs on SonyLIV application.

The show’s most recent season, 13 had Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya as judges, with one or two Hindi film-related guest judges appearing each week. The winner of the season was Ayodhya’s Rishi Singh.

Kumar Sanu –

A legendary playback singer, Kumar Sanu ruled the 1990s Bollywood music. Kumar Sanu holds a record for winning five consecutive Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer.

Badshah –

Gen X popular Indian rapper, singer, and music producer – Badshah. Badshah is known for his chart-topping Bollywood and independent rap tracks. He is one of the highest-paid rappers in the Bollywood Industry. 

Indian Idol Audition 2025 Eligibility Requirements:

• Those applicants age is above 18 Years old can participate in the show.
• This show is only for singing talent.
• In this show, both males and females can participate in the show.
• The contestant must be physically and mentally fit for the show.
• Participants must carry proof of Nationality and proof of Residence.
• Participants do not have any criminal background otherwise not able to participate.

Step 2: Click on the Indian Idol Digital Audition.

Step 3: Enter your Mobile Number and OTP confirmation.

Step 4: Apply for Indian Idol 2025 Season 16.

Step 5: Choose Language, Gender, State, and City.

Step 6: Answer the following questions: Have you any contract with any company, Have you participated in any singing show, Are you a trained singer?

Step 7: Fill in the Registration form as per the given fields.

Step 8: The next step upload the video.

Step 9: Finish, Selected participants will be called by the Indian Idol Authority.
