It was revealed on March 23, 2022, that ABC has ordered the programme with Kevin and Frankie Jonas as the hosts. The series debut date on July 7, 2022, was announced on April 7, 2022.

Claim to Fame 2024 Format:
- Twelve competitors, each of whom is linked to a famous person, live together in a house and are tasked with figuring out which celebrities the other candidates are related to while still keeping their own celebrity relationship a secret.
- Every episode features a competition among the candidates. The victor receives immunity for the round and a bonus tip regarding a different competitor.
- The episode’s “guesser” is chosen at the conclusion by a secret vote between the two competitors who placed lowest in that round.
- The guesser will then select a different non-immune competitor and reveal which famous person they believe the other competitor is related to.
- The other competitor will be removed if the guesser is right; if the guesser is incorrect, the guesser will be eliminated.
- The winner of the competition is awarded $100,000.
