Born in Bolton, Lancashire, on January 17, 1984. At the age of eight, Staz and his family relocated to Nottinghamshire so that he could finish his education.

Staz, who had very little life experience, was still wet behind the ears when he joined the Royal Marines at the age of 21. Not only did he complete the 32-week training programme, which is considered to be the hardest basic infantry course, but he also received the coveted King’s Badge (Top Recruit) and Physical Training Medal.

After a few years in the Royal Marines that went by very quickly, Staz intended to maintain honing his skill set and would quickly rise through the ranks.

Jay Morton:

Raised in Preston, Lancashire, Jay was an adventurous child who disliked spending time inside. He was born in 1984. Even though he played rugby league and studied sports in college, it was obvious that his ambitious outlook would never be satisfied with the level of challenge or engagement found in daily life.

Jay departed Preston in July 2004 to become a member of the PARAs in Catterick, where he would commence his military career. After leaving P Company, Jay spent four years serving with 3 PARA, making two deployments to Afghanistan and one to Iraq.

In 2008, Jay underwent the grueling Special Forces selection procedure because he wanted to be the best. After passing the first time, Jay continued his 10-year career in the UKSF and left with a diverse skill set.
