Latest Updates: NTA CTET 2023 will be conducted by the NTA (National Training Agency).
This examination will consist of two papers I and II:
- Paper I is for those candidates who want to be a teacher in Classes I-V (Primary level)
- Paper II is for those candidates who want to be a teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Upper level)
Minimum 60 % marks to qualify for the CTET Examination. Qualified candidates can download their CTET pass certificate which will be valid for 07 (seven years) from the date of declaration of the Result.
Eligibility NTA CTET 2023 Application:
Primary Level:
- Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and passed or pursued in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (D.EL.Ed)Â OR,
- Done Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with 45% marks and passed or pursuing in last year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) as per NCTE regulations 2002. OR,
- Done Senior Secondary (Class 12th) examination with 50% marks and passed or pursued in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR,
- Completed Senior Secondary (Class 12th) examination with 50% marks and completed or pursuing in the final year of Diploma in Education D.El.Ed (two years duration) OR,
- Holding a degree in Graduation and cleared or pursuing in the final year of a Diploma in Elementary Education (two years).
Upper Level:
- Carry Graduation and clear or pursue in the final year of a Diploma in Elementary Education (2-year). OR,
- Done Graduation with 50% marks and passed or pursuing in Bachelor in Education (1-year duration). OR,
- Holding a Graduation degree with a min of 45% marks and cleared or pursuing in Bachelor in Education (1-year duration) as per the NCTE rules and Regulations OR,
- Completed Class 12th exam with more than 50% marks and cleared or pursued in last year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (4- year duration). OR,
- Completed Class 12th with not less than 50% marks and cleared or pursued in the final year of B.Sc.Ed/ B.A or B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed (4- year duration). OR,
- Holding Graduation with 50% marks and cleared or pursuing in B.Ed. (1-year)

Application Fees:
- Either paper-I or paper-II: Rs. 600 for Gen category and Rs. 300 for SC/ST category.
- Both the papers, Paper-I and Paper-II: Rs. 1000 for the General category and Rs. 500 for SC/ST category.
How to Apply for NTA CTET 2023 Application form:
- The application form will be available at the official site (www.ctet.nic.in)
- Click on the tab CTET Apply online tab.
- Fill out Register forms such as name, valid email id, active mobile number, and personal details.
- After getting the registration number, log in to apply.
- Fill personal. education and communication details.
- Next steps, upload images of photograph and signature as per given specification.
- Finally, pay fees online or offline mode and take a printout of the application form.
