The Voice Kids Belgium 2025 Host:

Nora Gharib:

Belgian singer, actor, and presenter Nora Gharib. Gharib was born in Merksem and raised on the Left Bank. She co-starred with Sarah Mouhamou as the face of the 2020 and 2021 Ketnet anti-bullying campaign, Stip It. She would feature in the second season of A Real Job, which was confirmed near the end of 2021.

From December 2021 to February 2022, she participated in the third season of Dancing with the Stars on Play4, a Flemish channel. She proceeded to the round of championship and finished in third place. In the upcoming film Zeppos – Het Mercatorspoor, which hits theatres in the spring of 2022, she plays Monica.

In April 2022, Gharib started hosting the VTM television programme Blind Gesprongen. In the autumn of 2022, Tiny House Battle made its VTM premiere, with Gharib hosting the show.

Gharib presented her first clothing collection with Zeb in the spring of 2023. In 2023, she and Andy Peelman ran as candidates in The Big Bang. She also presided over Starstruck as a judge.

Aaron Blommaert:

Belgian actor, singer, and presenter Aaron Blommaert. He was born on August 7, 2002, in Aalst. The band BOBBY is well recognised for having him on lead vocals. He has been on Ketnet in the series 4ever and #LikeMe. In Familie, he portrays Raven, the son of Lars De Wulf who goes missing.

In 2023, he became victorious in the third season of The Masked Singer, playing the Wizard. After winning the show, Blommaert started his solo career and issued his debut single, Zonde. Meanwhile, he has already released a second song called Deurbell.

In the third season of the Ketnet series #LikeMe, which aired in the spring of 2022, Blommaert played Jonas. He replaced Sean Dhondt in the following season of The Voice van Vlaanderen that same year.

In the summer of 2022, he made a return appearance at Tien om te Zien as one of the four presenters. All of the shows were recorded using Westende. After coming out as the Wizard in The Masked Singer, he took first place in 2023.

Coely:

In 1994, Coely Mbueno was born in Antwerp, Belgium, to Congolese parents. At a young age, she started singing in a church chorus, directed by her mother. She started rapping when she was 14 years old, first covering Nicki Minaj in a local youth club.

She opened for artists like Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and De La Soul and played at all of the big Belgian festivals as well as international events like Glastonbury.

Pommelien Thijs:

Belgian actress and singer Pommelien Thijs was born in Kessel, Belgium, on April 4, 2001. She debuted on television in 2010 on the Flemish children’s programme Ketnet kookt.

In the Dutch production of Annie, which ran in 2012 and 2013 at the Capitole in Gent and the Stadschouwburg in Antwerp, Thijs was one of two actresses who portrayed the titular character.

Prior to being cast, she made an appearance on the television show Op zoek naar Annie (“Looking for Annie”). Pommelien Thijs rose to fame as “Caro” in the Flemish teen television series #LikeMe. Together with the actors from the performance, she performed several times around Flanders.

Metejoor:

Born on January 4, 1991, Joris Van Rossem is a Belgian pop artist who performs in Dutch. He performs under the moniker Metejoor. He topped the Ultratop charts in Flanders with the singles “1 op een miljoen” and “Dit is wat mijn mama zei” off his self-titled first album, which peaked at number one on the comparable album chart.

Metejoor took part in the Flemish Dancing with the Stars competition in late 2021, however he was forced to quit owing to an injury. In addition, he took part in the second season of the VTM reality series Een echte Job, which allowed celebrities to work in a hospital in Hasselt. In 2022, Metejoor became a member of the judges’ panel for the sixth season of The Voice Kids in Flanders.
