Overview of UPTET:

UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (Classes I-V) and upper primary (Classes VI-VIII) schools in Uttar Pradesh. Essential Qualification:-

• For Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed Graduation in any discipline with two years diploma in special education or BTC training from UP.
• For Upper Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed Graduation with a One-year degree in elementary education.
• For General / OBC category candidates: Rs.500/-
• For SC/ST/PWD category candidates: Rs.150/-.
