KCET 2022 Application Exam Date Pattern Eligibility Admit card: (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is also to be well known as Karnataka CET (K CET/Kar CET), which is the state level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

KCET is the entrance that provides the gateway for the students to take admissions in various programmes in the field of Architecture, Engineering, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, etc. Through this entrance, students can gain admission in various colleges and institutions situated in the state of Karnataka.

KCET 2022 Application Exam Date:

KCET Application Form 2022:

  • Application form of KCET, will be available only via online mode.
  • Application forms will be released in the month of February 2022.
  • Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), left-hand thumb impression and signature (3.5 cm x 1.5 cm).
  • Candidates must read the instructions carefully before filling the application form of KCET.
  • Take the xerox copy of the application form for further use.

Application Fee:

  • Application fee amounts to Rs- 650/- for general candidates.
  • For Reserved candidates, Rs- 500/- is the application fee.
  • Payment can be done only through offline mode through the specified bank Challan.

KCET 2022 Application Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility criteria is different for different courses and are mentioned below:

For Engineering/Architecture Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have cleared their10+2/2nd PUC or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics & Physics as a main subject & English as a language subject.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks (general)and 40%( reserved i.e. ST/SC)in physics and mathematics along with one of the subjects, i.e. Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Chemistry/Computer science.
  • Appearing Candidates: Eligible to apply for it.
  • For the architecture course, candidates have a valid NATA score

For Pharmacy/Science Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have cleared their 10+2/2nd PUC or equivalent exam from a recognized board with PCB and English as a language subject.
  • Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST Category) in the PCB group.
  • Appearing Candidates: Eligible to apply for it.

Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of Exam: Offline i.e. pen & paper mode.
  • Types of Question:MCQ, Multiple Choice Type Question.
  • Number of Questions: 60 from each section.
  • Time Duration: 80 min allotted to each section, the total duration of the entrance: 320 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

Syllabus:

The syllabus for Pharmacy will constitute of mainly three subjects, i.e. Biology, Physics and Chemistry. For engineering courses, candidates have to go through subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

KCET 2022 Admit Card:

  • Admit card of KCET, 2022 will be available only by online mode from our website in the month of April 2022.
  • The admit card contain all such details regarding name of candidate, roll number, address of the exam centre, date of exam & time, etc.
  • Admit Card will be used in the counselling process. 

KCET 2022 Application Results:

  • The result will be declared by the conducting authority at the End of May through online mode.
  • Candidates have to enter their registration number to check their results.
  • Keep a printout of the result & save it till the admission procedure not over.

KCET 2022 Application Counselling:

  • Counselling procedure of KCET will be commenced in the 2nd week of June 2022.
  • On the basis of the merit list, shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling session.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates according to the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination of KCET.
  • Satisfied with the seat allotment.

What all documents were needed during Counselling Procedure?

  • Class 10th & 12th Marksheet& Passing Certificate.
  • KCET Admit Card.
  • KCET scorecard.
  • Two latest passport size photographs.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Print copy of the filled Application Form.
