The National Board of Examinations has organized the NBE FET Exam to provide admission to the candidates in the Two Years Post-Doctoral Fellowship course. NBE FET stands for National Board of Examinations Fellowship Entrance Test. In this exam every year there are a large number of candidates who will take part.

NBE FET 2023

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for entry into various post-doctoral fellowship courses offered by NBE. The FET is conducted twice a year, usually in June and December.

The examination is conducted in online mode and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. The questions in the exam are based on the subjects related to the respective fellowship courses.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Candidates must be qualified with Post Graduate Medical Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate such as MD/MS/DM/DNB and M.Ch to apply for this exam.
• Candidates must have a permanent registration certificate of MBBS qualification & it must be reputed under the IMC Act.
• Those candidates pursuing a DM/M.Ch or DNB/FNB course are not able to appear for the FET.

How to  Register for NBE FET 2023?

Exam Pattern for NBE FET 2023:

• The exam will be an MCQ-type exam.
• The time duration of the exam will be of 2-hour.
• A total number of 100 questions shall be asked in the exam.
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• The maximum number of marks that can be stored in the exam is 100.
• No negative marking for a negative response.
• There will be 130 questions in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology group (High-Risk Pregnancy & Perinatology & Reproductive Medicine).

Selection Process:

The selection procedure for the National Board of Examinations (NBE) Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) is as follows:

1. Online Entrance Test: Candidates who have completed their MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) can apply for the FET. The selection of candidates is done based on their performance in the online entrance test. The online test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each.
