About the Show:
Thank God You’re Here is a popular Australian television improvised comedy program. This reality show was created by Working Dog Productions. The show first aired on Network Ten on 5 April 2006 & aired all seasons except the fourth series on the Seven Network.
After a fourteen-year hiatus, the series came back for a fifth series. The hosted by Celia Pacquola & features a guest judge in each episode. “Come Anytime” by Hoodoo Gurus is the production company of this show.
The programme received a sixth season renewal at the Channel 10 upfronts in 2023. After a few episodes, it was the most popular new show in Australia in 2006, drawing an average of 1.7 million viewers.

Celia Pacquola is a chameleon – a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who springs between stage and screen and has become one of our best-loved and most in-demand performers in any genre.
Celia first picked up a mic as a Raw Comedy contestant in 2006 & since then has gone on to be nominated twice for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Award and won the Amused Moose Award in Edinburgh and the 2018 Helpmann Award. Her engaging and hilarious stand-up weaves intricate stories with her compelling physicality to create shows that have packed out rooms from the Soho Theatre in London to the Sydney Opera House.
She performs predominantly in Australia and the United Kingdom. She is presenting Red Hot Go & Fox Summer Breakfast on Fox FM & The Comedy Hour on ABC Radio. She will host Network Ten’s revival of Thank God You’re Here in 2023.

In April 2023, Network Ten makers confirmed that a sixth series had been commissioned as a revival of the show. Celia Pacquola was announced as the host. it was revealed that the series would feature guest judges, a new ensemble cast, and special guests. The revival was filmed at Melbourne Showgrounds.
